I bought a card the other day for a friend as she begins a new journey. As I looked at the card, I realised that it perfectly depicts what is happening in my life right now, and so I decided to keep it for personal inspiration. For starters, the inside of the boat that is pictured is pink. Pink. Come on people. Secondly, it is a boat heading out into new waters. I noticed that the paddles are inside the boat and that the waters look very peaceful. This is how I feel right now. The waters are peaceful and the turbulence is minimal. As I move from one place to another, I know the One who has my pathway in hand and that gives me every confidence that the waters I’m sailing are going to be great ones. If you ever feel in turbulence or sense a lack of peace in your journey with God, know that He directs and orchestrates each season as He sees fit and will always walk with you through it. Isaiah 26:7 says this: But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does what is right, and you smooth out the path ahead of them. Bring on the future; the best is yet to come.
